DESCRIPTION:DÍA: 14 de marzo; \nHORA: 20:00 h; \nLUGAR: C.A.T.  \nENTRADA: libre hasta completar aforo.  \nEn mayo de 2023 Carlos Soria y Sito Carcavilla estaban intentado escalar el Dhaulagiri (8.167 m)\, la séptima montaña más alta de la Tierra. Cuando estaban ya a 7700 m de altitud sufrieron un accidente\, en el que el veterano alpinista se fracturó la tibia y el peroné. Comenzaba entonces un rescate que pondría a prueba su propia resistencia y la de las demás personas que participaron en él.\nEsta historia se ha narrado en un libro en el que se entremezclan el propio rescate y la historia de la montaña\, en cuyas paredes y aristas tuvieron lugar increíbles historias de alpinismo extremo\, supervivencia y tragedia\, porque el Dhaulagiri no es un ochomil más. Así\, viajando de la montaña al accidente y viceversa\, en esta charla se entrelazan las historias de la montaña con las decisiones que se tomaron durante el rescate y cómo influyeron entre sí\, conectando el himalayismo actual con personajes míticos del alpinismo. Una historia real para conocer una bella montaña y una experiencia de supervivencia y superación. \n
