La Atlántida destaca por su personalidad musical\, su calidad y  virtuosismo convirtiéndose en una de las orquestas jóvenes más destacadas de la actualidad musical. \nActualmente tienen la residencia artística en Soto del Real. \nSu director\, Manuel Tévar\, es también pianista y compositor. Es considerado uno de los músicos españoles más completos y con más proyección internacional de su generación y ha recibido varios premios\, como el Premio de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes\, el Premio Fundación Guerrero o el Premi Fundació Amics del Liceu.
