DESCRIPTION:DÍA: Del 9 al 29 de abril; \nHORA: horario Centro Cultural;  \nLUGAR: Sala de Exposiciones del Centro Cultural;  \nPRECIO: gratuito.  \nMÁS INFO: aquí.  \nExposición Red ITINER \nEsta exposición de fotografías y testimonios de personas centenarias de la Comunidad de Madrid pretende crear un espacio donde los ciudadanos puedan reflexionar sobre su legado. \nEn España hay casi 20.000 centenarios y en la Comunidad de Madrid residen 1.700. El Madrid de los protagonistas de esta muestra\, nacidos en las primeras décadas del siglo xx\, comenzaba a modernizarse y a expandirse\, pero todavía conservaba las desigualdades sociales y las tensiones políticas características de la época. En su adolescencia sufrieron la devastación de la Guerra Civil\, que marcó profundamente a toda su generación\, y sobrevivieron la dureza y pobreza de la posguerra. Gran parte de su vida adulta transcurrió bajo una dictadura. Han sido testigos de excepción de la transición española y la consolidación de la democracia. \nLas personas centenarias han experimentado la transformación de la vida cotidiana gracias a los avances sociales\, tecnológicos y científicos\, y han disfrutado la riqueza de la vida madrileña en sus diversas formas: desde la evolución del arte y la cultura hasta el crecimiento de barrios icónicos o el desarrollo de la infraestructura del Madrid actual. Su longevidad representa un logro personal y\, a la vez\, un valioso vínculo con el pasado de una comunidad que ha sido escenario de momentos históricos cruciales.
